Pre construction manager

Harris Global are currently recruiting for a Pre-Construction Manager to join a roofing cladding client on a permanent basis working fully remote with occasional travel across Europe, UK and Ireland. Key Responsibilities: * Attend managerial meetings and prepare various reports for the department director, board, and executive leadership team presentations. * Effectively manage resources to ensure adherence to best practices, cost control, maximized revenue generation, and profitability, while consistently seeking ways to add value to the business. * Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure alignment with the Technical Design, Planning, Procurement, and Operations departments, ensuring compliance with operating procedures. * Manage resource requirements by utilizing the internal team and engaging external consultants as needed to meet project demands. * Maintain regular communication with all relevant stakeholders. * Oversee pre-construction activities, including analyzing and mitigating risks in the tender package. * Thoroughly review the Project Specification, Employers Requirements, Planning Report/Approval, all drawings, and other related tender documentation prior to project commencement. This information should be discussed and analyzed with the project team at the project #39;s start. * Develop, monitor, and manage the Design Programme/IRS, ensuring all consultants and contractors produce and deliver the required information on schedule. * Produce and contribute to weekly design progress reports, reviewing and addressing progress and issues. * Take ownership of the project during the pre-construction stage, assuming full responsibility for its progress and working closely with the Project Manager and Design Manager to ensure successful execution. Competencies Required For This Role: * A BTEC in Building Studies, Building Engineering or Building Management or a HNC/ HND/ Degree in Construction Management or Architecture / Architectural Technology (including an industrial placement). * A minimum of 5 years rsquo; experience of managing elements of construction projects.
