Due to business growth, my client is looking to recruit an Gaming System Engineer, with experience in C++, C# and Gaming systems (Unreal, Unity, Proprietary) in their expanding Engineering team. As an Gaming System Engineer You will be instrumental in shaping various aspects of services to the overall vision of projects, and ensuring an exceptional gaming experience for their clients audiences. About you: 3 + years in Gaming Engines (Unreal, Unity, Proprietary). 3 + years Experience with (C++) 1 year of C# Strong debugging and optimisation skills in a multi-threaded, networked environment. Knowledge of game-specific networking concepts, including object replication, client-server and peer-to-peer architectures, server migration, dedicated servers, time synchronisation, prediction, quality of service (QoS), and voice integration. Experience developing sign-in flows, matchmaking, progression systems, user-generated content (UGC) and downloadable content (DLC) systems, and leaderboards. Familiarity with online gaming platforms such as Xbox Live, PSN, Steam, or similar. Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar. What rsquo;s on offer for you?
