Sales executive

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to help drive the growth of a Glossop based manufacturer to new heights by expanding their product reach and boosting revenue. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, pitching company products within the industry, and cultivating strong relationships with both new and existing customers and suppliers. What rsquo;s on offer? * GBP30,000 - GBP32,000 per year (OTE GBP38K - GBP45K) * Monday ndash; Friday 9:00am ndash; 5:00pm * Rewarding bonus structure * 23 days holiday (plus bank holidays) * Free onsite parking What will you be doing as a Sales Executive? * Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, and products through outbound calls (B2C B2B) * Creating strategies to successfully target and capitalise on new business opportunities * Building and maintaining relationships with new clients, assessing their needs, and developing proposals * Raising sales orders and liaising with the manufacturing team * Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients through account management * Pitching sales and products to both new and existing clients * Assisting with completing new business tenders * Attending exhibitions and face-to-face meetings to build relationships with industry partners; engaging in ad-hoc travel around the UK * Having a strong understanding of products * Staying up to date with new trends through research and providing analysis * Working with management to create sales forecasts/targets and actively working towards reaching them * Understanding and regularly reviewing industry market trends and competitor analysis * Collaborating with sales and production teams to ensure that customer requirements are met * Preparing regular reports on business development activities, key performance metrics, and progress towards goals * Undertaking special projects as requested by management What do you need? * A proven track record of commercial success in a similar role * Full UK driving licence * A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications * The ability to self-motivate and use initiative * Strong customer service skills If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have a passion for driving business success, we want to hear from you.
