Shift technician

Continental Shift Technician GBP49,000 Liverpool Street Alice Rose is currently recruiting for a Continental Shift Technician to work as part of the shift team based in one of Liverpool Street most prestigious commercial buildings. My client is one of the biggest property services providers and are currently expanding their maintenance team due to consistently winning additional contracts to there portfolio. The successful Continental Shift Technician will be responsible of all planned and reactive maintenance tasks directed by the Engineering Supervisor, and to also assist in the supervision of sub-contractors as appropriate. Continental Shift Technician Responsibilities: * To action and complete time/task sheets daily in accordance with agreed procedures. * To understand and to be able to operate all building control systems to monitor the plant, collect data and diagnose faults, where appropriate. * Identify and diagnose faults and to carry out repairs, adjustments and other maintenance works as appropriate. * To undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the Building Services Manager or Engineering Supervisor. * To achieve the highest possible standard of plant and equipment efficiency by ensuring that each task is carried out in accordance with the set requirements and instructions. Continental Shift Technician Requirements: * Time served in a recognised electrical, electronic, or mechanical apprenticeship together with relevant City Guilds qualifications is essential. * Must be working unsupervised on a regular night shift, continental shift or equivalent and will do so on an ongoing basis. * The successful applicant will be self-starting and motivated to work under his/her own initiative. * Previous experience on HVAC systems and chillers.
