Facilities and leisure duty manager

Facilities and Leisure Duty Manager, a new part-time permanent post is now available working for this established learning centre in Wiltshire. Reporting to the Facilities Manager and key stakeholders, this vacancy is offered on a 2-day-a-week basis, working a total of 15.25 hours per week, responsible for the ongoing facilitation and booking of leisure events and events. Offered with an annual salary of GBP12,000 plus a range of attractive employee benefits. You will act as the first point of contact, responsible for managing the booking requests system enquires through to final booking confirmation, management of payment and welcoming the arrival of customers using the facilities and grounds. This role seeks an organised and methodical approach, ensuring that bookings are taken over the telephone and via email, producing written costings, and confirmation of events, dates, and attendees. As Facilities and Leisure Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all internal and external areas are kept clean and tidy, conducting checks in line with Health and Safety regulations. You will be fully involved in the set up of rooms and outside areas, receiving parcel deliveries with goods and services used and required for specific events, and checking that emergency procedures are in place and adhered to including Fire and Evacuation and First Aid procedures. Naturally, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills to be used to manage customer requests and produce written communication. There is a need to help with emergency cleaning in the event of spillages, leaks and general little picking and collection. This is a remarkably busy but rewarding part-time opportunity that includes extensive customer interface and communication skills
