Planner

The Company My clients are a very well-established blue chip main contractor operating from their regional offices in Bristol. They work on projects with values up to GBP10 #39;s of millions in value covering new build, refurbishment, general construction, health care, education, commercial, heritage, conservation and residential sectors. Projects are typically located in and around the Bristol region. Due to their continued success in winning work by both tendering and via Framework agreements, with both new and existing clients they are looking to recruit a Planner to join their busy and vibrant team on a permanent basis, working in and around the Bristol area. Salary and package details are: - Very competitive negotiable Salary (based on experience) Bonus Scheme (defined) up to 15% of salary Company Car or Car allowance up to GBP6,500 per annum Pension contributions up to 6% 26 days holiday PLUS bank holidays with the possibility to earn extra holiday Health Care Death in service benefit of 4 x salary after qualifying period Mobile phone Laptop The Role You will be providing the project planning on exciting projects across many different sectors up to the value of GBP10 rsquo;s m, in and around the Bristol region. Projects will include both tender and live projects, previous experience of using Asta software is a must. You must be able to deal with problems in your stride, have a positive outlook and be able to work with individuals of all levels. The Candidate My client is happy to accept applications from Planners and Senior Planners for the role. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in a Planning role and have strong industry experience, working for a main contractor on similar sized projects. Previous experience of Asta Power Project is a must. Communication, attention to detail and working collaboratively are crucial in this role. You will have a positive attitude and confident approach, being able to communicate with people at all levels.
