Proposal manager

Insight Executive Group are delighted to be working with a multi-national FM Service Provider who are looking to recruit a Proposal Manager to help support their national growth across all sectors. The position is remote (with occasional travel to Birmingham or Surrey), permanent and offer a starting salary of GBP45k. The Proposal Manager will sit within a high performing specialist unit, focused on the creation and production of sales documents across Compass The team work nationally, managing high value bids, proposals and presentations across multiple sectors. The successful Proposal Manager will be responsible for: * supporting and producing creative, strategic, solution based bid proposals * ensuring a compliant, compelling bid which communicates the agreed win strategies and win themes * liaise with internal and external stakeholders to co-ordinate bid responses * project managing medium to large complex bid opportunities, from kick-off to appointment * driving the bid process to develop and implement ideas which shape winning client solutions * support sector bid writers in creating responses * supporting and managing storyboard sessions where the Proposal Manager will help team members to structure and write responses * support the design process using Adobe Creative Suite to create high impact bids, proposals and presentations The successful Proposal Manager will be able to demonstrate: * proven track record in managing and winning complex bids * proven track record of persuasive bid writing to create compelling sales documents * 2+ years demonstrable experience of using a bid management methodology (eg Shipley, BidPerfect) * creative strategic thinking and ability to look at different ways of doing things * strong analytical and project management skills * advanced user of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint * working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is desirable If you match the above criteria and are interested in the role, please send your CV through for a discussion about the role ndash; many thanks
