Maintenance engineer

Maintenance Engineer GBP32,000 - GBP34,000 Oldbury Full Time ndash; Permanent We are looking for a maintenance engineer to join our client #39;s team, in Oldbury who are a house-hold name and an industry leader. This is a full-time permanent position with a salary range of GBP32,000 - GBP34,000. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment. Benefits GBP32,000 - GBP34,000 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Employee discount End of year bonus 6am-3pm with flexibility required. To be successful in this role, you will need: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new systems and electronics quickly. Electrical and mechanical aptitude and the skill to disassemble and reassemble complex devices. Knowledge of electronics and PLC fault finding. Experience of working with equipment such as sewing machines, motors, conveyors, belts etc. (preferred). Welding, soldering and fabrication skills (preferred). Good understanding of bearings, motion systems and their maintenance (preferred). Level 3 17th, 18th or 19th edition qualification (preferred).
