Class 1 driver

Class 1 (C + E) HGV Driver - Days and Nights We are working with a client who is seeking for more HGV Class 1 (Cat C + E) drivers to add to their team, completing domestic loads: 2-3 drops, curtainsider trucks with self-tipping (PM shifts). Also completing local collections on single deck trailers, rachet strapped (AM shifts). Main responsibilities: Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle Being responsible for securing the goods in the vehicle and unloading at each drop Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members Adhere to all traffic laws and regulationsExperience: - Class 1 (Cat C + E) driving experience (1 year minimum for insurance purposes) - Valid CPC - Clean driving record - Trunking - Self Tipping Location: Runcorn Salary: GBP15 - GBP20 PH, 8 hours minimum paid per shift Holiday pay accrued separately Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, alternative days (approx..
