Registered Nurse (RGN) ndash; Brand New Ophthalmic Clinic - Taunton - Up to GBP37,336 Working Hours: Days Only ndash; 7:30am until 5:30pm shifts We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN) to join a fantastic Ophthalmic Clinic in Taunton, Somerset. The clinic is part of one of the UK #39;s leading Ophthalmic Care Providers and the largest provider of cataract surgeries in the UK. They are looking for experienced RGNs from ideally a hospital background to join their growing team. We have worked closely with this provider on opening many of their new services and received outstanding feedback from nurses and ODPs working there based on the quality of training, work-life balance and standards of the services. The benefits of this Registered Nurse (RGN) role include: * Generous pay - Up to GBP37,336 * 2x discretionary annual bonuses worth up to 5% annual salary each * Only 1 weekend shift per month * Outstanding training development opportunities * Free DBS As a Registered Nurse (RGN) you will be responsible for: * Administer drugs in accordance to the NMC guidelines for the safe and secure handling of medicines. * Undertake all care for patients whilst in the hospital including diagnostic tests and post-operative care. * Assist with stock control, ensuring realistic par levels are maintained and all items are readily available. * To ensure patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act. * Provide support and mentorship to colleagues and new staff. * Admission and discharge of patients on a theatre day. As a Registered Nurse (RGN), you will have: * An RGN qualification * Current registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK * The ability to use your skills to develop care plans and risk assessments
