What will you be doing? bull; You will be designing hardware systems mainly using proprietary hardware components for control panels, bull; Primarily focusing on PLC #39;s, MCCs, Drives Controls, and switchgear, bull; Preparing, reviewing and checking necessary calculations and design. What will you need? sect; Knowledge of designing electrical panels containing PLC #39;s and LV distribution systems, sect; Good knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, sect; Thorough understanding of BS7671 IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, sect; Understanding of IEC BS EN (phone number removed), Low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies, sect; Experience of designing electrical cabling and containment systems, sect; May involve limited travel with the possibility of some periods away at customer sites carrying out surveys and designing solutions.
