We are looking to appoint a fully qualified teacher (with QTS) who is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management. Role and Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking history lessons that bring the past to life and encourage students to explore historical perspectives. Teach a range of historical periods and topics, including but not limited to ancient civilizations, world wars, and social movements, to students of varying abilities and ages. Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported in their historical inquiries. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources, including primary sources, multimedia materials, and experiential learning activities, to cater to diverse learning styles and needs. Assess student understanding and historical skills regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the history curriculum and create interdisciplinary connections.Requirements: Bachelor #39;s degree in History or a related field (Master #39;s degree preferred). Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Passion for history education and a commitment to fostering historical literacy and critical thinking.
