Transport planner

Our client are looking for an experienced transport planner to join their busy transport team, you will unsure efficient effective plans are created daily ensuring all jobs are planned and allocated for the following days plan. Good knowledge of planning is a must 10am - 7pm As a transport planner your duties will include; Complete efficient and effective routes for the following day/week knowledge of road networks as vehicles can be out all week Managing customer/network orders and prioritisation based on customer requirements Help build runs for the general drivers Print and collate all driver rsquo;s paperwork Pre-assign required collections The ideal candidate with have the following; Experience working in a transport operation Ability to be flexible Strong communicator and customer service skills Calm under pressure and good at problem solving A positive attitude to work Committed and dedicated to the role and providing the best possible service for the customer Salary up to 30k
