Senior quantity surveyor

Commercial Lead Opportunity ndash; Stratford, East London ndash; Leading GBP800M Turnover Main Contractor Invision is representing a Top Construction company who are seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based on and commercially lead a new project in the Stratford area of East London. My client currently one of the biggest residential construction companies in the country, turning over more than GBP800 million and opting to build quality over quantity. The Project This project will consist of a large residential phased regeneration project consisting of 461 Residential Units split across 6 medium rise RC Frame apartment buildings to 16 storeys in height. Included in this project will also be over 60,000 sq. ft of commercial and retail space, basement carparking and cycle storage. The Position You will be responsible to commercially lead this project from inception through to completion, responsible for cash management, by minimising cost and maximising value through proactive analysis and facilitation of works packages and the building process to maximise profitability for the business. Produce and issue accurate and timely CVCs ensuring preliminary and material costs/forecasts are managed.
