Sales and business development officer

We #39;re partnering with an innovative organisation specialising in psychometric profiling tools, catering to a diverse range of clients from small businesses to multinational corporations. They are seeking a part-time Business Development Executive (16-20 hours per week) to propel their sales efforts and foster relationships with both new and existing clients. In this dynamic role, you #39;ll have the chance to sell the invaluable benefits of additional psychometric reports to current clients while also attracting new customers to leverage the full suite of available tools. You #39;ll be joining a tight-knit team of 10, led by an inspiring CEO known for their supportive and collaborative approach. As a Business Development Executive, your responsibilities will include: * Researching and identifying sales opportunities * Engaging with existing and potential clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings * Converting enquiries into loyal customers * Delivering compelling presentations via Zoom/Teams, with potential for in-person meetings * Maintaining regular contact with clients to understand their needs and address any sales-related concerns * Representing the company at networking events as needed To excel in this role, you #39;ll need: * A solid background in business development/ sales, preferably in a B2B setting * Strong presentation, influencing, and relationship-building skills * Excellent written and verbal communication abilities * Proficiency in MS Office 365 * A positive and flexible mindset, eager to adapt to evolving challenges * An inherent interest in selling insightful reports that drive individual and team development As a Business Development Executive, you will receive: * Salary - GBP24k- GBP28k pro rata (FTE being 35 hours per week) * Commission - 5% on above target sales * Pension ndash; statutory Auto Enrolment scheme * Holidays ndash; starting at 24 days per annum plus 8 public holidays (increasing with service). * Healthcare cashplan (levels increase with service, with the option in January of each year to increase cover/add partner through salary deductions). * Hours-16-20 hours to be worked across 4 days Monday to Thursday (4-5 hours per day). Hybrid working ndash; at least 40% of hours office based.
