Site Security Manager to GBP57K + Benefits Based Greater Edinburgh The Company This is a fantastic opportunity to work for our client a leading security services provider who have a reputation for excellence in the sector. They seek a Site Security Manager to provide leadership and direction for the security team on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day control of the security team ensuring that all aspects of their duties are conducted to the required standards. In this exciting role the Site Security Manager will have a direct impact on the recruitment, training, and policy procedure of the site. The Role The Site Security Manager will be lead and coordinate Enterprise Security activities for the site. To deliver all aspects of physical security on site, ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and assets. Overall responsibility for ensuring the security team is proactive and quality-focused, completing all aspects of their duties to the required standards. The direct management of all shift Supervisors, with responsibility for all security staff recruitment, performance management and training. Recruitment and training of new security personnel including security officers, security control room and pass administration functions. To support the client in with the occupancy of a new signature site with a significant headcount increase. To scope and document the operational model and associated SOPs and oversee a flexible security model during final construction works and phases occupancy. The Person The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role with industry knowledge in manned in guarding, law enforcement, military, security, or safety in management capacity. In-depth knowledge of security protocols and management of guarding operations is essential. Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining security, life safety or business continuity procedures and training. Adept in security control room infrastructure and technologies with proven ability to communicate effectively with IT and Security integration professionals. The ability to collaborate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in developing and maintain effective working relationships at all levels with stakeholders of the business. Discrete and proactive with excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Attention to detail with a strong focus on process and governance. Level 3 First Response Emergency Care certification or equivalent is desirable ndash; must be willing to qualify as a condition of employment. Security and H S qualifications such as CPP and IOSH, and experience in security fields such as Event Security, Security Technology, Physical Security, Training are an advantage. Must have the ability to respond to unexpected emergencies and situations out of hours
