C++ Real Time Software Embedded Engineer Location: Luton, 3 days on site Duration: 12 Months Rate: GBP75 ph Umbrella Inside IR35 SC Clearance required A Real-time embedded software engineer is required in support of defensive aids development programmes at our Capability Green site in Luton. Activities will cover the full range of the software engineering lifecycle, from requirements, to delivery, working on the clients current software code base to implement enhancements, resolve issues and ensure the software is compliant with Leonardos software development and release process. Key Skillset bull; Able to demonstrate experience in all areas of the software lifecycle from requirements definition through to integration and delivery. bull; Developing and updating Modern C++ software in a real-time embedded environment on target hardware. bull; Familiar with debugging software on target hardware in a lab environment bull; Strong knowledge of the software engineering lifecycle including awareness of the latest continuous integration and continuous delivery techniques. bull; Understanding and application of software design methodologies and best practice including Object Orientated, SOLID design principles and use of recognised design patterns. Desirable bull; Defence / EW business domain background bull; Knowledge and understanding of development to RTCA/DO-178B
