Production engineer

PRODUCTION ENGINEER Our client, based in Windsor, is a leading Contract Electronics Manufacturer. They are looking to employ, on a full time permanent basis, a Production Engineer experienced with SMT Machines, PCB Assembly and production machine programming. The role is within the production environment producing PCB assemblies, therefore the ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in supporting a PCB assembly facility. Production Engineer ndash; Offer * GBP36k to GBP39k depending on experience, plus key staff bonus * Hours are Mon-Thurs 08:00 to 16:30 and Fri 08:00 to 13:00, a 37-hour week * Holidays - 5 weeks plus Bank Holidays * Auto enrolment Pension * Free on-site parking Production Engineer ndash; Responsibilities * Converting customer supplied data into programs for production machinery * Respond to breakdowns * Strong problem solving skills * Ability to produce high quality work instructions Production Engineer ndash; Requirements / Skills * Competency with Computer Aided Manufacturing packages for PCB assembly (e.g.; Circuit CAM, Factory Logics, Fuji CAM) * Experience working with SMT machines (Siemens ideally) * Proven track record of using customer supplied Gerber, BOM and CAD data to generate production machine programs is essential * Experience of stencil design and ordering * Knowledge of oven profiles and screen-printing process If this role sounds like you, please follow the prompts to apply or contact either Gary on (phone number removed) or Russel on (phone number removed) at GHA Recruitment
