Mobile Gas Service Engineer ndash; Leeds My client who provides total building maintenance and facilities management for commercial buildings within the private and public sectors are looking for a Mobile Gas Service Engineer in the Leeds area. Main Duties: bull; Undertake service, repair and replacement of gas fire plant ndash; including providing reports, recommendations and quotations. bull; Participation in a 24/7 on call rota. (This is currently 7days out of 28days) bull; To perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on all associated equipment, including fault finding and repair bull; Operation of plant and equipment. Inspection of Mechanical Electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation in accordance with agreed procedures and company quality standards. bull; Participate in the upkeep of records on servicing of plant and equipment and maintaining the plant asset registers. bull; To carry out any reasonable request to perform duties which are normal custom and practice in a maintenance environment. Qualifications/Skills Required: bull; COCN1 Core Commercial Gas Safety bull; or ndash; CODNCO1 bull; TPCP1A Testing Purging Pipework up to 6 rdquo; (150mm) bull; ICPN1 Installation of Pipework in excess of 28mm bull; CORT1 Overhead Radiant Tube Heaters bull; CDGA1 Direct Fired Commercial Appliances bull; CIGA1 Indirect Fired Commercial Appliances bull; CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety bull; CENWAT Central Heating Boilers Water Heaters bull; CPA1 Combustion performance Analysis 40 hours per week with participation in a 24/7 call out rota. This is currently on a 1 in 4 week basis and a standing fee of GBP85.00 will be paid per week when on call. Company vehicle for company use. Company mobile phone for company use. The salary for this position is between 35k ndash; 40k. Previous experience as a Gas Service and Maintenance Engineer within a Facilities Management background is essential.
