Job role will include: AM shifts ndash; Maximum 3 drops/collections 9 ndash; 12 hour shifts on average. Curtainside vehicles. You will be required to strap / unstrap load. Delivery to RDC rsquo;s throughout the UK. Mostly driving however, there will be a requirement to assist loading unloading if required by the Clients Customers with the use of a pump truck. You must pass an upaid assessment to be able to work here. Complete POD #39;s Return them to the transport office. Ensuring goods are safely secured. Completing LGV vehicle defect and maintaining logs. PAY RATES DRIVERS PAYE DAYS MON - FRI GBP15.00 ndash; GBP16.81 WEEKENDS GBP16.81 ndash; GBP18.83 UMBRELLA DAYS MON ndash; FRI GBP20.48 WEEKENDS GBP21.35 What we are looking for: A valid full category CE Licence (Class 1) with at least 3 months experience. No more than 6 points on driving licence. NO DD, DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions Minimum age 25 years due to insurance criteria Drivers will be required to have a good attitude and able to work by themselves or with a team. Demonstrates excellent communication skills. Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail. Able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
