Business support assistant

JT Recruit have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Assistant to join the team of our public sector company In West Bridgford. This is on an on-going temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08.30 ndash; 17.00 ndash; the role is predominantly hybrid working from home ideally working from the office 1 day per week. Your main roles and responsibilities will include: * Performing a wide range of business support tasks with due regard to confidentiality and safeguarding * Providing advice and guidance to customers, business partners and others on business processes and operational service issues * Creating, managing and manipulating information, producing bespoke and complex reports * Processing orders, resolving issues, reporting, reconciling accounts and handling cash * Responsible for the organisation of meetings and events including booking venues, issuing invitations and papers and taking minutes * Reception duties, meeting and greeting visitors, provide direction and give advice and guidance to basic enquiries The successful candidate will have the following skills: * Experienced Administrator with a high level of attention to detail. * Ability to manage a demanding workload and work to deadlines. * Minute taking experience and other associated tasks such as booking venues, sending out invitations, completing actions etc. * Ability to handle potentially upsetting and distressing information concerning a child. * A thorough knowledge of GDPR.
