Logistics assistant

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Assistant to support our logistics department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure efficient and timely operations. This role involves organising and maintaining records, scheduling appointments, and acting as a liaison between customers, surveyors, and site teams. Responsibilities: Administrative Support: * * Perform general administrative tasks including filing, answering emails and phone calls. * Maintain and organize records of site photos and other documentation. * Arrange site appointments ensuring they are scheduled within the allocated time frame. * Coordinate with customers and surveyors/teams to find mutually convenient times for appointments * Confirm and communicate appointment details to all relevant parties. * Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. * Ensure clear and timely communication between customers, surveyors, and site teams. * Communicate schedules and any changes to the site teams efficiently. * Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate any last-minute changes or emergencies. Qualifications: * Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in logistics or office administration are a plus. * Experience: Previous experience in a logistics or administrative role preferred and basic knowledge of construction industry * Skills: * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
