Payroll trainee

We are currently partnering with a growing accountancy organisation in Farnham, recruiting for a Payroll Trainee. This is a Trainee position and full training and support will be given to develop your skills and abilities for a long-term career within practice. Key Responsibilities: Build productive working relationships within the accountancy and with clients as required Develop and apply your technical knowledge through on-the-job training and formal qualifications Process starters and leavers, calculating statutory payments, RTI submissions, Pension Deductions etc Liaise directly with clients to ensure accuracy of payroll data and answer phone queries, resolve problems and provide payroll support Communicate with clients, other staff, Directors and the HM Revenue Customs Process payrolls on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis (or as directed) for a range of clients of various sizes and from a diverse range of businesses Experience/Skills Needed: There are two routes to enter our training programme. You may apply after A-Levels (A,B,B) or equivalent qualifications. Alternatively, we welcome applications from university students who have achieved or are predicted a 2:1 or above.
