Nursery Assistant Wembley, London September 2024 Full-Time hours Salary: GBP80 - GBP95 Per day We are currently seeking a Nursery Assistant to join our team in Wembley, Brent. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to our early years department. This is a permanent position with full-time hours. Job Duties: Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery Support the delivery of educational activities and programmes Ensure the safety and well-being of all children Help with meal times and encourage healthy eating habits Engage in play and learning activities with the children Assist with record-keeping and documentation Collaborate with other staff members and parents to create a positive learning environment Required Qualifications of either: CACHE level 2 CACHE level 3 BIIB level 2 diploma Highfield level 2 diploma Level 2 diploma for early years Education and Experience: To be considered for this role, you should have a CACHE level 2 qualification or above. Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge and Skills: Strong interpersonal skills Fluent in English Supportive and caring nature Proactive and able to use initiative Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous: Teaching assistant qualification Working Conditions: As a Nursery Assistant, you will be expected to work full-time hours. The working hours for this role are 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The position is based in Wembley, Brent, and will require you to work within a nursery environment.
