Fire security project engineer

Position: Fire Security Project Engineer Location: Surrey Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Fire Security Project Engineer to manage and oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of fire and security systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and execute fire and security system projects from inception to completion. * Design and specify fire alarm, intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV systems. * Oversee the installation and commissioning of systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. * Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met. * Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams. * Monitor project progress and address any issues or changes that arise. * Ensure all projects are delivered to the highest quality standards and within agreed timelines and budgets. * Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a project engineer in the fire and security industry. * Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm, intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV systems. * Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIA, BAFE, NSI) are a plus. * Valid driver rsquo;s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
