Project contracts manager

The Company My client is a West Midlands based company who carry out projects in the commercial and industrial sector, consisting of specialist interior fit-outs and complex refurbishments working with a very blue chip client on projects valued from GBP200k to GBP3m. They oversee the delivery of projects from end to end, from pre-site planning and preparation to ensure designs are translated correctly into fully working solutions for their clients. Project Manager Role As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for managing the onsite and offsite project team on fit-out and refurbishment projects, acting as the main point of contact and responsible for effective communication of the scope of works. You will be liaising with clients and delivery partners to maintain expectations and project requirements so we can provide the best experience possible. Responsibilities * Project managing * Providing support to the rest of the Projects team during times of annual leave or sickness * Liaising with clients to clarify project requirements, scope, and objectives * Identifying and planning for risks and potential barriers to project delivery * Liaising with the finance team to raise procurement requests * Liaising with the operations team to book and manage resourcing requests * Creating project plans and purchasing schedules, including anticipated logistics * Working closely with our Technical Leads to oversee any offsite build and commissioning work * Checking in and liaising with clients to make sure their needs are met as the project evolves * Keeping an eagle eye on the project rsquo;s progress and budget, and handling (as well as communicating) any issues that arise * Working closely with the onsite delivery team to make sure they know what rsquo;s going on and what rsquo;s expected of them * Coordinating activities with other trades, stakeholders, and delivery partners * Producing health and safety documentation along with RAMS * Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports * Identifying and escalating new opportunities back to our Sales team * Reviewing project plans, floorplans, and specifications * Flagging and proactively providing solutions to any issues and risks ahead of time The Successful Project Manager * Excellent technical interior fit-out related building knowledge and planning skills * The ability to develop, manage and maintain a multi-priority workload, progressing various ideas and plans concurrently, with numerous partners, to deliver a variety of innovative services and deliverables * The ability to read and comprehend technical project documents and create project programmes * Fantastic communication skills ndash; both with fellow team members and clients when things are going well and when things don rsquo;t go to plan and need honest conversations! * Good knowledge of the construction process, contractual procedures, and responsibilities * Experience in managing large project teams and running complex, high-value projects between GBP200k - GBP3m
