Production manager fixed term

As the Production Manager you will be responsible for all manufacturing-related activities and employees within the factory environment. Including planning, coordinating and taking management ownership of all the steps in the production process, ensuring that products are delivered on time and on budget. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Manage and run production activities ensuring weekly, monthly and annual output targets are met. Head up production, engineering and stores teams; setting the standards and leading by example. Engage employees to deliver improvements to processes by adopting and embedding lean manufacturing philosophies Proactively identify efficiency improvements to processes, and where possible deliver automation solutions Drive Health and Safety agenda throughout the organisation ensuring best practice is adopted throughout Promote teamwork and encourage employee skills and career development Ensure exacting Quality standards are maintained and group company initiatives are delivered To be successful in this role of Production Manager we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of: Degree in Engineering, preferably with an Electronics focus 5 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally in Production/Engineering environment (or similar); Expertise in Electronics, including SMT production and assembly of electronic goods; Knowledge of automation and Lean manufacturing, gained through hands-on delivery of projects; ACS are recruiting for a Production Manager.
