Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Science to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT to develop their teaching skills and contribute to the success of our students across Key Stages 3 to 5. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5, demonstrating excellent pedagogy and a commitment to high standards. Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum, ensuring all students are challenged and supported to achieve their full potential. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and using data to inform and adapt teaching strategies. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for science. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of the science department.Qualifications: A degree in Science or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS. Demonstrated passion for teaching science and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Strong understanding of effective teaching practices and the ability to implement them in the classroom. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
