Graduate Continuous Improvement Engineer Derby GBP27000 - GBP32000pa Main Purpose of Job: To continually strive for process improvement and support production in continuous improvement activities. To ensure all activities are carried out in a controlled manner and properly documented. Role Responsibilities To assist the Continuous Improvement Manager in CI Projects Use six sigma tools to help solve ongoing tooling issues and improve product quality Assist in ensuring all documentation is controlled and maintained as per company standards Ensure all process changes are proven and properly documented with appropriate approval Assist with the development and implementation of optimum tooling and equipment change operations Monitor, maintain, record and report quality levels, standards and performance, and record and report optimum tool/machine performance settings Assist in maintaining WTIIs and other production documentation Personal development to achieve company objectives. Qualifications and Experience Six Sigma Green Belt (desired, or willing to complete) Proven lean experience and demonstrable understanding. Proven project management experience gained within a manufacturing or engineering environment Batchelors degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related discipline Computer literate Basic mechanical / machine maintenance and repair experience
