Located in superb new premises in Long Stratton, Norfolk. Dar eacute;gal Gourmet are seeking a Part Time Credit Controller for a permanent position to join them within their accounts team. Hours of work are 20 hours per week, which whilst times are flexible, we need someone who can work every day, Monday to Friday ndash; this could be ideal for a parent wishing to work school hours. This is a pivotal role in the company, giving you the opportunity to work with professional businesses, whilst assisting them with the running and maintenance of their individual accounts. You will require: Experience within a credit control/financial position. AAT levels (2 or 3) would be a distinct advantage, although not essential. Proficiency and competency within the MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Previous experience with SAP would be desirable but not vital as full training would be given. Strong organisational skills with diligence and attention to detail; have the willingness to be adaptable, multi-task and be flexible to meet business needs. A personable nature with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with clients and fellow colleagues. Ability to prioritise workload and work collaboratively with and build strong working relationships both internally and externally. Awareness of technical and food safety requirements within the UK would be useful. Duties and responsibilities: Managing credit control including the supervision of accounts receivable, and account reconciliation. Process monthly statement run to all debtors, including following up on aged debtor accounts in a timely manner. Input new customer accounts into SAP, including terms of trade and the management of credit insurance cover for all customers. Investigate and resolve accounting queries, raising credit notes/debit notes in support of authorised customer claims.
