They are looking to appoint a Technical Services Manager to their Technical function at their site in Middlesbrough. On offer: bull; Salary is GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 bull; Enhanced holidays bull; Excellent career development opportunities The role: The Technical Services Manager, reporting to the Technical Manager, will lead the technical services function. They will ensure products are safe, and legal and conform to customer requirements by managing the sites QMS and food safety systems Key responsibilities; bull; Ensure site policies, procedures, and other standards are updated and managed. bull; Update, maintain, and monitor customer and other third-party portals. bull; Implement and maintain an internal audit system. bull; Play an active role during audits and site visits bull; Be a confident point of contact for technical enquiries related to the QMS and food safety systems for internal and external stakeholders. bull; Initiate reviews of risk assessments bull; Completion and delivery of KPI reports and analysis, undertaking the management of results and trends. bull; Management of critical paths to ensure that all tasks allocated are completed on time and to the standard required. bull; Deputise for the Site Technical Manager Candidate experience and skills required: bull; A degree in food science, food technology, or microbiological qualification. bull; Significant experience in a technical compliance role in a BRC accredited food manufacturing business. bull; Sound working knowledge of HACCP (level 3+), food safety and QMS, microbiology, and allergen management, COPs, and technical systems and databases. bull; Experience working with major UK retailers Please apply with an up to date CV or for more information please contact Tracey at Alexander Steele Recruitment
