Structured cabling site manager

My client is looking for a positive and energy driven individual to work within their Operations Department. My client enjoys delivering customer service excellence when they bring the kind of ldquo;WOW rdquo; experience to their customers. The Job role involves managing structured cabling projects in Data Centres in the UK and Europe. Role: Site Manager Location: Home based with up to 50-80% travel in Europe Salary: Negotiable + (with review after probation period) * Company Laptop, Mobile Phone, Health Insurance * Holiday Allowance: 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays (28 total) Duties and Responsibilities * Supervising on site teams work packages. * Ensuring Health and Safety of all personnel on site along with other contractors. * Maintaining PS Networks high quality installation standards. * Managing daily Project documentation to ensure work is correctly tracked. * Delivering tool box talks for onsite engineers. * Assessing and minimalizing on site Risk. * Monitor, control and manage in-house project operations to meet customer expectations and timelines. * Liaise between departments to ensure the smooth operations delivery. * Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project Manager. * Track manage contemplated change notices and change orders. * Arranging equipment delivery to site and ensure it is correctly stock managed and accounted for. * Evaluate current operational performance and provide strategic plan for future improvements. * Occasional lsquo;hands on rsquo; capability when required. Basic Requirement * 5+ years Data Centre experience. * Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a cabling Solutions * OM3/OM4/OM5/OS1/OS2 Cabling Solutions. * Competent Microsoft Office skills, incl. Excel, Office Visio * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure and be flexible. * Well organized, pro-active and responsible attitude. * A good team member but with the ability to work on un-supervised. * Strong written and verbal communication skills
