Trainee Forklift Engineer (Workshop Engineer) Basingstoke Circa GBP31,000 - GBP33,000 Base + 6% Employer/4% Employee Pension + Overtime at Time 0.5 2.0 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Assurance + Discount Benefits Scheme + Uniform 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (39 hours a week) Trainee Forklift Engineer role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of materials handling equipment. The role will suit mechanical technicians with transferable skills looking for excellent training and progression routes. The Trainee Forklift Engineer role will be suitable for engineers with mechanical service and repair skills. Vehicle/motorbike technians will be particularly suited to the role. You rsquo;ll form part of a highly skilled team in a very reputable business. Based in the Workshop with a team of engineers, you will be carrying out pre delivery inspection on a vast range of forklift trucks, fit any specific parts and repair and service when needed. You rsquo;ll order any spares and communicate progress to the manager. Overtime is available and is paid at time and a half over 39 hours a week. The Trainee Forklift Engineer role in brief: * Carry out PDI rsquo;s, service and repair work on workshop and service basis on a range of forklift trucks. * Work on a Monday to Friday basis in a busy workshop environment. * Order spares when necessary. * Overtime. The Trainee Forklift Engineer Person Required: * Mechanical hand on experience. * Excellent communication skills * IT literate * Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
