Aerospace Laboratory Chemist Derbyshire GBP30,000 per annum Day shift 7.30am-4.00pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 7.30am-12.30pm Ristara Engineering is working in partnership with Global Aerospace Engineering company located in Derbyshire, that manufactures world-class machined and fabricated components for the Aerospace, MOD markets. We are now looking for a permanent site Chemist to control and analyze all chemical activities on site in compliance to customer expectations and NADCAP requirements and be part of a value added team Our client is Established and respected in its chosen market, having built a strong reputation for quality and excellence! Successful candidates will be working in an environment that will challenging and busy. What experience and skills do you need for the Laboratory Chemist vacancy: * Formal Chemistry qualification and general experience * Technical knowledge experience within the aerospace sector * Knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace standard or ISO 9000/9001 * Some knowledge of NADCAP chemical process auditing * Planning and organising of priorities and objectives * Good level of computer literacy, written verbal skills * Auditor qualified in AS9100 Aerospace standard or ISO 9000/9001 * FMEA, SPC Process Capability (CPk) * Any ldquo;lean rdquo; skills training ndash; 5S, 7 wastes, cell manufacturing, etc. * Alloy fabricated parts, machined alloy and hard metals * Chromic sulphuric / Tartaric / phosphoric Anodise, Chemical etch * The Non Destructive Test Process (NDT) * Full responsibility for the operation within the Chemical Laboratory for completion of tasks in a timely manner and within customer specifications. middot; Shift for the Laboratory Chemist vacancy: * Day shift 7.30am-4.00pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 7.30am-12.30pm * Free onsite parking * Fantastic working Environment! * Great Opportunity!
