Product development manager

I am currently looking for a Product Development Manager to join a growing science technology company in Cambridgeshire. As a Product Development Manager, you will lead the company #39;s entire product development life cycle to apply their technology to a range of products. As the Product Development Leader, you have a background in the plastics/ polymers/ masterbatch industry with a track record of successful product lunches. Responsibilities Develop and implement a product develop strategy to ensure company goals are met. Work collaboratively with all departments (R D, Production, sales, quality) to dive innovation across product ranges focussing on plastics and textiles. Oversee formulation scale-up activities to manufacturing. Lead multi-discipline teams of scientists, engineers and product development technologists. Lead innovation on polymer/ monomer and plastic based products. Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the product development life cycle. Develop and monitor project plans to ensure the quality and on-time delivery of products. Ideally candidates will be: Degree or PhD qualified in Chemistry, Polymer Science or Chemical Engineering and have significant experience in product development roles taking products to lunch.
