Financial reporting analyst

Role: Financial Reporting Analyst Location: London Duration: 9 Months Hybrid 3 days in the office Accounting Reporting - ongoing bookkeeping accounting, preparation of annual financial statements and coordination of external audit, compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GGAP), maintenance of internal control system for financial accounting, financial (non-regulatory) reporting to internal external parties, management of IT projects, calculation of SLA charges Financial Control Product Control - ongoing monitoring of financial performance incl. lead of annual financial forecast/MYP process, development of a product control function in line with MaRisk including daily monitoring of trading result, market conformity checks of valuation pricing, Tax Compliance - monitoring of changes to tax legislation, maintenance of tax compliance system, review of all tax declarations, maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, support for other teams on all tax related matters. Regulatory Reporting - Compliance with all European German regulatory ESG reporting requirements, Coordination of ongoing prudential reporting Heavily regulated environment * Strongly evolving environment * Main interfaces: Changes and processes for regulatory reporting purposes Accountabilities Responsibilities Support and Coordination to define and advise technical requirements of new products affecting regulatory reporting in relation to Paris BI Transfer aspects of the clients EU reporting. Support and Coordination on analysis and adjustments of data streams in relation to transferred portfolios in relation to Paris BI Transfer aspects of the clients EU reporting. Formulating business requirements for IT adjustments in relation to Paris BI Transfer aspects of the clients EU reporting Support and Coordination of supplementing IT implementation regarding regulatory reporting official requirements in relation to Paris BI Transfer aspects of the clients EU reporting Testing of IT implementation in relation to Paris BI Transfer aspects of the clients EU reporting Designing and defining required adjustments to the current regulatory reporting processes in relation to Paris BI Transfer aspects of the clients EU reporting Documentation of process adjustment in the policy and procedure manuals in relation to Paris BI Transfer Preparing go-live (sufficiently instructing operations team) in relation to Paris BI Transfer related aspects of the clients EU reporting Knowledge, Skills, Experience Qualifications Previous related experience in a regulatory advisory or reporting role within a financial institutions or consultancy firm Be able to understand complex concepts of new regulatory requirements, challenge them and support communication to IT Analytical skills of regulatory driven changes and development of solutions and Data Analytics Please be advised if you haven #39;t heard from us within 48 hours then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion, we may however keep your details on file for any suitable future vacancies and contact you accordingly.
