The Opportunity The team are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Claims Technician to join their esteemed team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in managing the entire claims lifecycle, with a specific focus on Marine Hull claims and associated marine risks. This role demands a professional who can independently handle a caseload and deliver exceptional results for both direct and reinsurance claims. Key Responsibilities: * Claims Management: Efficiently manage a diverse caseload of Marine Hull claims from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and accurate processing. * Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and support on marine claims matters. * Risk Assessment: Evaluate and analyse marine risks associated with claims to determine coverage and liability. * Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and precise records of all claims activities, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible. * Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, adjusters, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth claims processing and resolution. * Compliance: Ensure all claims handling activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
