Service engineer

Field Service Technician - Odourisation Staffordshire About Us Industrial products business that designs, manufactures and services/installs systems for utility companies around the world. Job Summary We are looking for a Field Service Technician to install, service and support various systems in the natural gas industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the industry and be a self-starter with attention to detail. This is a full-time position for a high growth company. Responsibilities * Work on ATEX equipment in the field * Commission and install new equipment on customer sites in compliance with industry best practices. * Service systems in the field as a part of scheduled or emergency maintenance * Support customers in the UK in regard to the various systems and field issues * Ensure a high quality of service to the customer and adhere to Health and Safety requirements and company procedures. * To participate in the cleaning and preparation of equipment and supplies to maintain a clean and organized work area to maximize productivity * On-Call phone field support Basic Qualifications * 2+ Years of recent experience as a field service technician or similar * Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision * Proven ability as a fast-learner and self-starter with a high level of attention to detail * High level of mechanical and electrical aptitude * Good verbal communication skills * Experience with odorant is a plus * Ability to understand and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, able to advise clients on the drawings and specifications. * Strong communication skills and excellent team working attributes. * Full driving license (maximum 3 points/no disqualifications). Travel Work Arrangements/Requirements * Field based role Key Competencies * HNC / HND in either Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or a related subject.
