Accounts administrator

We rsquo;re looking for an Accounts Administrator to join one of the country rsquo;s leading precision engineering firms at their site based in Stockport. The candidate we are looking for will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the companies bookkeeping, along with other general administrative duties. What rsquo;s on offer? * GBP27,000 per year * Monday ndash; Friday 9:00am ndash; 4:30pm * 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) * Job stability progression opportunities * Onsite parking canteen * Unionised workplace * Hands on, supportive management What will you be doing as an Accounts Administrator? * Managing weekly payroll * Handling monthly invoicing for customers and suppliers * Preparing monthly P L reports * Maintaining records for auditors * Reconciling accounts, including balancing petty cash * Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones and greeting visitors * Accessing customer portals for invoicing * Maintaining office stocks and equipment What do you need? * Previous experience in a similar role * To be able to demonstrate examples of previous successes in a similar role * A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes ERP tools * Comfortability with problem solving and working in a team This is a great opportunity to join a highly reputable team with an exciting future ahead.
