Compressor engineer

The Role As the result of business growth, we are now looking to increase our service capacity and wish to recruit a full time Compressor Service Engineer working out of our Bedford site. The successful candidate will report to our Service Manager, and will be allocated diagnosis, planned maintenance and repair jobs as required. Most jobs will require only one Engineer, working alone. The Candidate The successful candidate will need to comfortable working on their own, having a minimum of 5 year rsquo;s field service experience, at least 3 years of which will have been in the compressed air industry. They will be highly technically focussed, with an aptitude for analytical and logical thinking and capable of working independently to solve technical issues, overcome problems and act as the Customer rsquo;s trusted advisor on the equipment that we support. It is vital that the Engineer is able to develop a positive, strong working relationship with our Customers based on presenting a highly professional, technically capable and flexible approach. The successful candidate will have a full, preferably clean, driving licence, ideally including the ability to tow a trailer.
