Commercial Finance Manager ndash; Private Surgical Hospital Group Salary - GBP65,000 - GBP70,000 + Bonus Fully Qualified Full Time ndash; Permanent Remit Compass Corporate services are proud to be working with a leading national health care organisation to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager based in the midlands where you will oversee the Commercial Finance aspect of the hospital site on a weekly basis. The Role The successful candidate will report directly to the Hospital Director and will be a key hire within the Senior Leadership Team and will play a critical part in ensuring they provide finance support and expertise for hospital Senior Management Teams, driving a clear understanding of the operational and financial performance of the hospital (KPIs, trends, revenue, costs, and EBITDA) ensuring that financial control policies (including approval and authority limits) are followed where relevant, that a disciplined and consistent approach is taken to the management of costs and within-hospital working capital and that all business development and capital proposals are accompanied by a rigorous and commercially astute financial appraisal. The Commercial Finance Manager Is also responsible for hospital financial planning and monitoring. Requirements 1. Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) 2. Extensive senior level accountancy experience 3. Experience of multi-site or otherwise distributed working environments, with local profit and loss responsibility 4. Strong technology skills, including computerised financial systems and Microsoft Office 5. Demonstrated ability to quickly appraise complex situations and to identify key issues Location You will be working in the Birmingham Private Hospital and be required to work on site most of your time with the role going into more hybrid once settled in.
