Civil technician

My client are an energetic engineering consultancy who provide services to the construction industry, developers and local authorities. They undertake a wide variety of work including drainage design, highway and external works design, structural design, structural surveys, flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling. They are looking to recruit a Civil Technician to join their team, based in the Newcastle office. The Role: middot;Experience within the house building sector middot;Understanding of approval processes including S104, S38 and S278. middot;Ability to work with other design team members and clients in the design process. middot;Appropriate qualification in civil engineering. middot;Excellent written and oral communication skills. Your Experience: middot;Educated to a ONC/HNC or Degree level in Civil Engineering. middot;Previous experience in the civils sector. middot;Excellent report writing, communication and numerical skills required. middot;Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, with experience at AutoCAD Civil 3D preferably.
