Assistant site manager

Overview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a dynamic team in Birmingham. Projects range up to GBP120m across sectors including Highrise Multiroom, Industrial, and Education. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and site staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Support the Site Manager in planning and execution of project activities, including scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality, addressing any issues promptly. Maintain accurate site records and reports, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.Qualifications of the Assistant Site Manager: Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, ideally with exposure to highrise, industrial, or educational projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and health and safety regulations. Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills. Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field. CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification preferred
