Learning Support Assistant-Rochester This is a full time Learning support assistant role with an ASAP start. This school is seeking someone to work as a Learning Support Assistant for students in a school in Rochester. About the school: This is a mixed school catering for secondary school and sixth from students. Supportive leadership team with great training opportunities. Access to a wide range of resources and support to help you in your role.About the role: Work 1:1 or within a group basis with students to support their learning and development. Adapt learning materials and prepare resources to support the student #39;s individual needs. Have high expectations, understand the importance of, and promote the principles of inclusion by enabling every child to overcome barriers to learning. Attend school trips/sports days/school plays etc. Show willingness to further your personal development as a Teaching Assistant.What the school is looking for: Enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be happy to process a new one (GBP46). Ideally someone with knowledge/Experience of working with students in a school environment. A good understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
