We are currently seeking experienced and skilled Steel Fitters to join their team for airside operations. As an Airside Steel Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of steel structures within the secure airside area of the airport. This role demands precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a highly regulated environment. Note to Applicants: Due to the sensitive nature of airside work, all applicants will undergo rigorous background checks, including employment history verification and a detailed criminal record check. Key Responsibilities: * Assemble and install steel frameworks, structures, and components as per engineering drawings and specifications. * Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit steel sections. * Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards. * Perform maintenance and repairs on existing steel structures. * Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure project timelines are met. * Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed work. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Requirements: * Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as a Steel Fitter. * 5 years checkable employment history. * Clear criminal record. valid Criminal Record Check certificate. * Valid CSCS card. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. * Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures. * Excellent physical stamina and ability to work at heights. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. * Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience working in an airside environment. * Additional certifications related to steel fitting and construction safety.
