Senior infrastructure engineer

My client are an energetic engineering consultancy who provide services to the construction industry, developers and local authorities. They undertake a wide variety of work including drainage design, highway and external works design, structural design, structural surveys, flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team, based in the Leeds office. The Role: middot;Experience within the house building sector, commercial experience welcomed. middot;Manage team members and support their development. middot;Manage client expectations. middot;Monitor and manage progress on designs. middot;Knowledge of all approval processes including S104, S38 and S278. middot;Ability to identify site constraints, design of public highways, drainage systems and utilities. middot;Proven experience in designing a variety of schemes from inception to completion. middot;Ability to work with other design team members and clients in the design process. middot;Excellent written and oral communication skills. middot;A solid understanding and experience in the delivery or all infrastructure aspects of projects from both a technical approval and client viewpoint. middot;Supporting and developing junior staff members. Your Experience: middot;Ideally, educated to Degree level in Civil Engineering. middot;A good level of design experience in the civils sector. middot;Excellent report writing, communication and numerical skills required. middot;Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civils 3D and Micro Drainage along with good working knowledge of SUDs.
