This could come from a variety of disciplines, such as Project Engineer, Service Engineer or technical support or an NVQ, HND or ONC in a technical or engineering based subject. middot; They key is that you have the potential to be credible in front of engineering and technical customers and candidates. middot; A track record of achieving targets within a sales environment. middot; The skill to overcome objections and be tenacious, but not pushy - that #39;s what everyone else does! middot; The ability to connect with people and build long standing, professional working relationships with key decision makers. middot; A consultative approach to selling. middot; A natural instinct to close! middot; The ability to negotiate favourable terms ensuring a #39;win-win #39; (our MD #39;s favourite phrase). middot; Highly developed communication skills.
