Role: Interpreter REF 77664 Contract Length: Until 31/08/24 with possibility to extend Location: Hybrid/London - 1-3 days per week in office, as required for Business needs. IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate Security Clearance: SC requested Spinwell is recruiting for an Interpreter for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTERPRETER As an Interpreter for the client, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating effective written communication between staff and our customers who speak Dari and / or Pashto. Your exceptional language proficiency, cultural sensitivity, and strong interpersonal skills will be instrumental in bridging linguistic gaps, enabling successful written interactions with ARAP customers, and case work resolution. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE INTERPRETER * Lives in commutable distance from Office * Language Proficiency: Fluency in Dari and / or Pashto, demonstrated through formal education or professional experience. * Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to various speaking styles. * Cultural Awareness: Deep understanding of cultural differences and sensitivities, with a strong commitment to promoting cross-cultural understanding. * Knows formal documentation to recognise if genuine. * Knowledge of military units/locations in Afghan would be highly desirable. * Professional Experience: Proven experience in interpretation services is desirable. * Technology Aptitude: Familiarity with Microsoft and willingness to learn how to use the platforms. * Punctuality and Reliability: A track record of punctuality and dependability If you are an Interpreter, apply now or send your CV to Spinwell!
