Legal secretary family

Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with a leading firm of Solicitors in Bradford to recruit an experienced Family Law Legal Secretary Main Responsibilities To provide secretarial and clerical support all fee earners and to assist them with delegated fee earning tasks. As a member of the New Client Team you will participate in the triage process for taking enquiries from prospective clients. Daily duties Secretarial duties including the provision of audio typing, ensuring case management system maintained, dealing with clients queries, filing, ensuring post signed, taking payments as required. Assisting fee earners with tasks e.g. speaking to clients, completing forms etc. Managing fee earner diaries ndash; making appointments, court updates etc. Assisting with other office duties including answering the telephone, clerical duties and assisting other secretaries. Undertaking general office responsibilities as agreed Occasionally covering reception on rota basis with other secretaries Participation in ldquo;New Client Team rdquo; taking new enquiries from prospective clients and assessing whether the firm can assist them and including assessment for legal aid, advising on private client charges etc. Ensure compliance with Non-Discrimination, Equality and Diversity Policy Other duties as required by the Directors and practice manager commensurate with the role of Legal Secretary Training requirements: Training in the use of firms software Standard induction Other training as required e.g. legal knowledge, spreadsheets et cetera Benefits Central location Pension scheme Great office environment
