Production operative steel

WB Employment #39;s Client is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Steel Production Operatives. In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer orders to specifications using a combination of manual and cutting-edge machinery. Available Shifts: * Afternoon Shift: 14:00 - 22:00 (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) - Includes a 30-minute paid break. All training conducted during the day shift. * Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00 (40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday) - Includes a 30-minute paid break. All training conducted during the day shift. Key Responsibilities: * Operate a variety of manual and CNC-based machinery for metal processing. * Process steel according to customers rsquo; requirements and specified tolerances, ensuring adherence to the company rsquo;s quality system for full traceability of orders. * Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting drawings, orders, and verbal instructions, and be available to train others in these areas. * Work autonomously and efficiently under pressure, maintaining high standards of quality. * Safely operate forklifts, combi-lifts, and cranes as needed. * Collaborate with a team of operators to process steel orders promptly as they are received. * Prepare orders for shipment, including banding, palletizing, and bagging. * Load and offload plate and parts from plasma machines. * Utilize appropriate measuring equipment to identify and locate various steel products
